I’ve been a little slutty recently, and contributing to a couple of other blogs.
Ironically, given my little hissy fit about ‘character’ accommodation yesterday, I’ve picked out a place I’d happily pay to stay at for 101Holidays.co.uk. My choice is the Hunter Valley Cooperage in New South Wales, Australia, which I visited last November. It’s exactly how a B&B should be done; facilities, geniality, superb service and personality in spades.
One thing in New South Wales I wouldn’t recommend, though, is the hilarious crap tourist train at Sydney’s Bronte Beach. I’ve done a brief piece on that for the delightful James Ellis’ World of James.
That’s enough of being a wanton hussy for now…

Um, David….you do know that train isn’t for tourists bit little kids, right?
Show me a kid who thinks that train looks like good fun, and I’ll show you a kid who likes Blue Peter, wets the bed and gets relentlessly bullied at school.
Gee. You’re still spitting chips that you didn’t get that Thomas the Tank Engine figurine for Christmas all those years ago, aren’t you?
