You can always tell how classy an area is by the signs saying what you’re not allowed to bring into it. The more worrying the things you’re told you’re not allowed to bring in, the more likely it is that someone has tried to get in with them in the past. The Reeperbahn in Hamburg, it would be fair to say, is not Europe’s classiest street.
