Charley, the friendly crocodile

Kachikally photo travel

In the Gambia, there is a place called Kachikally. It’s essentially a pool utterly infested with Nile crocodiles. But apparently a protective charm has been put on the pool, and some of the crocs will not attack humans. Charley is the friendliest, and lets strangers sidle up to give him a pat and a stroke. NB. I still have all my limbs intact.
